Yarmouth

Lymington to Yarmouth is the perfect passage across the Solent if you’re looking for a relaxing day on the water.  Yarmouth sits at the mouth of the River Yar and contains some of the oldest architecture on the Isle of Wight, making it a real gem of a fishing harbour. The town is filled with a range of quaint cafes, shops, galleries and great local pubs to enjoy a drink as you watch the sunset over the water.

Studland Bay

If you are looking for a longer passage and a trip past the Needles then Studland Bay is a great anchorage to aim for. With good shelter in westerly winds and excellent holding ground, the bay is tranquil and calm. Idyllic for a spot of lunch or an overnight stop with views of Old Harry Rocks and the miles of beaches lining the waters of Studland Bay.

The Hut, Colwell Bay, Isle of Wight

The ‘East End Arms’ is a traditional country pub and restaurant located in the beautiful New Forest National Park, just a short 10 min drive from Lymington Yacht Haven.

Owned by the drummer from Dire Straits, this honest country pub offers the perfect mix of delicious food, a warm relaxing atmosphere and locally brewed ales.
